1. Identify relevant embryology, development, and anatomy.
2. Be aware of appropriate team management and care of these patients.
3. Explain the role for potential surgical and non-surgical interventions prior to definitive repairs.
4. Distinguish the technique and goals of described cleft lip and craniofacial repairs.
5. Recognize secondary deformities and means to treat them.
