Overview
Lectures from experts in fields related to Pediatrics - topics will include issues of interest to practicing General Pediatricians and other allied health providers.

Objectives

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
  1. Enhance knowledge in evidence based medicine and apply to improve performance in patient care and clinical outcomes in practice settings.
  2. Describe pertinent public health topics and apply the knowledge to improve performance in patient care and clinical outcomes in practice settings.
  3. Identify new methods of diagnosis and treatment of specific diseases and disorders that are covered in Grand Rounds topics and apply the knowledge to improve performance in patient care and clinical outcomes in practice settings.
  4. Identify new and existing guidelines or standards of care and apply the knowledge to improve performance in patient care and clinical outcomes in practice settings.
  5. Discuss new technology and research outcomes and apply the knowledge to improve performance in patient care and clinical outcomes in practice settings.
