Overview
This module discusses the importance of communication and practical application of end-of-life care in graduate medical education and medical practice.

Objectives

At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
  1. Define evidence based educational practice in Palliative and End-of-Life care for core faculty.
  2. Acquire skills to improve healthcare delivery by incorporating palliative principles.
  3. Apply the core principles of professionalism, patient-centered care and system based practice in medical leaders.
  4. Utilize EPEC core competencies as a model for communication and discussion for educators to develop life-long skills in palliative care.
