Medical guidance regarding the minimal medical qualifications for commercial motor vehicle drivers.


At the end of this course, participants should be able to:
  1. Evaluate and certify a commercial driver as a medically fit to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
  2. Demonstrate in all regulations (laws) and evidence-based guidelines as they apply to commercial drivers.
  3. Compare unsafe medical conditions and diseases and identify according to available regulations and evidence-based guidelines, which will result in a reduction of accidents attributed to poor driver health.

The Florida Hospital is accredited by the Florida Medical Association and the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
