NOTICE: Governor Rick Scott signed into law on March 19, 2018  HB 21,  Chapter 2018-13 Laws of Florida - Section 456.0301  -- a controlled substance course on prescribing opioids is now required for DEA-authorized prescribers in Florida.

UPDATE:  Florida Hospital is not authorized to offer courses that meet this requirement at this time.

This legislation goes into effect on July 1, 2018 and the first deadline is January 31, 2019.
